This cave is located 3 kilometers northeast of Dehloran on the outskirts of a mountain overlooking the valley and thermal springs of Dehloran.

It is the habitat of thousands of tailed and large bats so it is called Bat Cave. It is one of the ancient caves and dates back to the Troglodyte period that changed to the habitat of bats later on.

The huge and thick mass of the residues of bats on the floor of the cave has been created during thousands of years and farmers use it as a fertilizer. the Khofash cave has been registered as national monument so it is a protected cave.
